Frozen Birthday Card

When thinking of a making a children’s card I will often think in 2 ways for the design. 1. What does the child like; and 2. What is the theme for the party. I was extremely lucky with my choice this year for my friend’s little girls birthday. Like all other 3 year old girls she is a huge Frozen fan and she was also have a frozen themed party. Her favourite is Elsa So I made this card for her and kept it simple. I have many projects underway to help decorate her room for when her baby sister arrives next month and I will share more with you as I create them.

This card was created by <a href=

I used the Disney – Frozen Cricut cartridge to cut out Elsa. I love this cartridge. If you are new to Cricut and how these layered images work the one thing you must remember is to make sure that you use the relative dial option when setting the size. This ensures that all the images, when cut, will be at the correct sizing relative to the original shadow size to create the featured image. For this card I had the relative dial set at 4 inches. Thought I would also share a picture of the cake that my friend made for the Birthday party. It was fantastic to hear Isabella say Zia this is the best cake ever.
